Error 619: A connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection was closed.
This error occurs when authentication fails. Please check that your username and password are correct, and that the signal indicator is green.
Error 633: The modem (or other connecting device) is already in use or is not configured properly.
This message is seen when the Mobi iB modem card is not communicating internally on the PC, or already has a Mobi iB connection operating. Rebooting your machine should fix this problem.
Error 676: The phone line was busy. The iBurst modem cannot communicate with the base station.
Check that the signal indicator is green. If not, move the modem to an area in which it turns green. Wait a few minutes and try again.
Error 678: The remote computer did not respond. The Mobi iB modem is not operating properly, or is not communicating with the base station.
Check that the Mobi iB modem is installed correctly. If all seems OK, and the problem persists, shut down the computer and start it up again.
Error 691: Access was denied because the username and/or password was invalid on the domain.
The username or password that you have entered is incorrect. Re-enter the username and password, ensuring that caps lock is off, and make sure your username contains @mobi.yourispdomain at the end.
Error 718: The connection was terminated because the remote computer did not respond in a timely manner.
This problem is usually caused by a faulty modem. Make sure the signal indicator is green, and that the Mobi iB modem is installed correctly. Wait a few minutes and try logging in again.
Error 721: The remote computer did not respond.
The login message was prevented from reaching the radius server. Make sure the signal indicator is green. Wait a few minutes and try again.
Error 769: The specified destination is not reachable.
The Mobi iB modem is not communicating properly within the PC. Make sure the modem is installed correctly. If all seems OK, restart your machine.
I'm unable to connect. What do I do?
- Check if there is signal or check your link status on the iB icon on your task bar if connected through USB or on a UTC device. - Check if UT is connected correctly & all cables (e.g. Ethernet cable between UTD and PC)
- Check all ports, Ethernet/USB on your operating system to ensure that they are fully functional.
- Check that the virtual network has not been disabled or deleted. This can be checked under your network connections.
- Check if connecting through a router – if so check PPPoE settings i.e. username, password.
- Bring the UT device for testing at the Mobi iB office or your local supplier.

Why is there an icon on my taskbar indicating I have "limited or no connectivity"?
This is a virtual network connection required by the Mobi iB device for connectivity. Ensure you DON’T DISABLE this local area network connection.
Why am I unable to logon to certain websites and my e-mail?
Check your SMTP and POP3 settings are: smtp.myisp.net.lb and pop3.myisp.net.lb. Server should be in "host forwarding mode" not "DNS delivery mode".
Which ports are restricted on Mobi iB network?
Due to excessive DoS attacks and worm traffic, the following ports will be restricted: tcp 445, 135, 139, 1433, 1434; udp 1433, 1434. Furthermore, peer to peer traffic is shaped on most Mobi iB packages. SMTP relaying on port TCP 25 is restricted to authorized SMTP relays only.
My email isn't working. What do I do?
Login to Your Account to ensure that the account works. Check SMTP and POP3 settings are:
• smtp.myisp.net.lb,
• pop3.myisp.net.lb.
• Only 4 mails can be sent out concurrently,
• Server should be in “host forwarding mode” (NOT “DNS delivery mode”),
• Server response setting set to 180 seconds

My PC had uploaded 800 MB's by itself. Why?

This is a sign of either a virus or some spyware uploading your data to some hacker out there on the web or a phishing site stealing your information. To do:

• Update your spyware & your antivirus package
• Check your firewall is on
